Prima IBCS™ 6.5-6.6 Releases: Functionality, In-depth Business Coverage and Intuitive Usage Prima IBCS

The most recent versions of Prima IBCS™ offer several enhancements designed to respond to the industry's needs in terms of functionality, in-depth business coverage and intuitive usage.

The Prima IBCS™ 6.5 reference model includes several enrichments to the Claims, Contract and Product domains, as well as a complete documentation re-write. Another key upgrade to the model is the addition of segmentation meta-data to better qualify and categorize the Prima IBCS™ Model content according to line of business (Life, P&C, etc.) and business activities (underwriting, contract management, etc.)

Version 6.5 also includes enhancements to the productivity suite. The persistency tooling was improved: the mapping wizard now includes a new approach to hierarchy mapping, making it easier and more intuitive to build data models iteratively and real-life projects on top of it. Prima IBCS™ 6.6 introduces two new features: the Documentation Editor and Usage Statistics Reporting.

The Documentation editor feature allows you to easily create and edit your project's documentation. It includes hyperlink-based navigation, auto-completion for model elements, automatic list of dependencies and more. Usage Statistic Reporting allows you to easily follow the evolution of your projects by sending usage statistics from the Prima IBCS™ Plug-in to Prima Customer Care for analysis. You can have access to information such as: the number of sessions started, the total session time and the mapping activity.

Prima Solutions Obtains a 375,000 € Grant from OSEO to Finance a New Innovative Insurance Software Product

Prima Solutions obtained a 375,000 € grant from OSEO to finance its innovative development plan: building off the shelf insurance applications based on its standard reference model Prima IBCS™.

Since its creation, Prima Solutions has focused its efforts on providing insurance companies with a software framework that accelerates their insurance applications development projects. As a result, Prima IBCS™, the Insurance Reference Model is today recognized as the only standard insurance model in the market since its adoption by ACORD as the foundation of the industry Information Model.

These funds will allow Prima Solutions to combine its innovative products and expertise to develop ready to use standard insurance applications, hence becoming the first provider of insurance business applications based on the ACORD Information Model.

Prima Solutions' Website Redesigned

Prima Solutions has just released the new design of its website. The new design is based on two needs: to make our website simpler, clearer and easier to navigate, and to better reflect the richness and range of all the solutions offered by Prima Solutions through its products and services.

The website's overall content and structure have been simplified to better match the new communication strategy. The new structure presents a better view of all the solutions Prima offers with an easy access to them. This structure and design also highlights our expertise and what we are capable of doing for you.

The graphic design, on the other hand, was completely reconceived to go to the essential, making it much easier for you to really get to know us and to find out how we can help you.
